The commencement ceremony of Hubei's major projects in the fourth quarter of 2022 took place on the morning of November 4, with a parallel session on the construction site of Liugong Central China Industrial Base in Jingzhou District. Following the ceremony, the commencement ceremony of Jingzhou's major projects in the fourth quarter was held.

Wu Jin, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, announced the commencement of these projects. Zhou Xiangyang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; municipal leaders including Li Shuibin, Liu Huiwen, Zhou Changjun, Xia Guanghong, Jin Peng, Li Gan, Han Xu, Yang Yunchun and Wu Changjun; Zeng Guang'an, Party Secretary and Chairman of Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd.; and other enterprise representatives attended the ceremony at the break-out venues in Jingzhou or counties, districts and cities under it.

168 major projects in Jingzhou were involved, with an investment of more than 100 million each, a total investment of 83.3 billion yuan and a planned annual investment of 10.8 billion. Among them were 81 advanced manufacturing projects, with a total investment of 33.02 billion yuan; 30 infrastructure projects, with a total investment of 32.72 billion yuan; 17 modern service projects, with a total investment of 6.43 billion yuan; 12 livelihood improvement projects, with a total investment of 4.59 billion yuan; 11 ecological and environmental protection projects, with a total investment of 3.88 billion yuan; and 17 modern agriculture projects, with a total investment of 2.66 billion yuan.

At the ceremony, a head of the Jingzhou Development and Reform Commission introduced the commencement of Jingzhou's major projects in the fourth quarter. A head of Jingzhou District delivered a speech and reported on the commencement of local major projects.
